Scope Note: A subdivision of a function, which has resulted in the creation of the record resource. Especially when the records creator is an individual person or a family, activity might be the more appropriate term.

function

Scope Note: Any high-level purpose, responsibility, or task assigned to a corporate body by legislation, policy, or mandate. Can also be described as the group of activities aimed at achieving one or more goals of an organization.
